Chicago Tea Patriots Escort Brady for Illinois in
Evergreen Park’s 42nd Annual  Independence Parade

The Chicago Tea Patriots, with a host of other conservatives, will be escorting Republican Gubernatorial candidate Bill Brady and WE WANT YOU TO JOIN US!

This Independence Parade is a day of celebration, so let’s leave our signs of protest at home and let’s show WHY we’ve been protesting for the past year: Because we love our country. Because we love Illinois !

We encourage tea party families and their neighbors to join us, bearing signs of love for both our country and state!  This is a time to show your support for Bill Brady and tell the entire Southwest Side, “We are taking Illinois back!”

42nd Annual Evergreen Park Independence Parade
Friday, July 2nd
95th Street and Harding Avenue
Chicago, IL

Our parade entry will line up on 95th Street and Harding Avenue (one block east of Pulaski Avenue) and we ask that you meet us at our parade unit at 6 p.m.  The parade route goes eastbound on 95th Street to Rockwell, then northbound.  Additional parade details will be released soon, but we just wanted you to take this as a SAVE THE DATE NOTICE.

More details will come, but please bring your neighbors and family member and, of course, this is a total kid-friendly event!

We will be hosting monthly get togethers where we will keep everyone up to date on timely issues such as the upcoming elections and other important issues as well as offer everyone an opportunity to get to know fellow tea partiers.

Saturday, June 26th, 3 p.m., at O’Rourke’s Office, 11064 South Western Avenue in Chicago.
Note: The time for this event has changed because the Crosstown Classic is playing and it will cause just too much conflict having them at the same time :P   There is street parking and parking in Leona’s parking lot.

Saturday, 6 p.m., July 17th, 6 p.m., Tom’s Tap, 6701 South Archer Avenue in Chicago.
Note: There is plenty of parking on Archer and the side streets. I apologize but I had to change this date from the earlier scheduled date due to family obligations. Tom’s is located across the street from McDonald’s.

Saturday, 6 p.m., August 21st, Quigley’s Irish Pub, 4010 W. 111th Street in Oak Lawn.
We will cover details for the upcoming rallies in DC and the upcoming November mid-term elections.

This will be a great time to get together with like-minded patriots and get to know each other in a more casual environment. Too often we meet each other, on a picket line or at a town hall, but seldom do we have the opportunity to mix and mingle until now!
All of our costs throughout this past year have been absorbed by a few people, but with our very exciting upcoming year and our growth, we need to expand our finances so that not just a few people are depended on to carry the costs.
